What
would the world be like without taxes?
This
is one of the questions “An Exciting Journey on Taxes,” the NTS-published
book in easy-to-read cartoon format, addresses.
Specifically
targeting readers in elementary and junior high school, this animated picture
book is intended to help students establish a wholesome perspective on taxes.
The book takes young readers on a journey through time, as it attempts to explain
how taxes have evolved with time and have begun taking on the role that it has
come to play today.
The
NTS plans to distribute the publication to elementary and junior high schools
nationwide for use as material for tax education. This is part of a wider NTS
initiative to gradually incorporate tax into the regular academic curriculum.
