Taxpayers’ Day Ceremony
The
41st Taxpayers’ Day Ceremony was held on March 5 at the COEX Convention Center
attended by Deputy Prime Minister Kwon, Oh-kyu and National Tax Service Commissioner
Jeon, Goonpyo.
Each
year, taxpayers are selected and awarded a Model Taxpayer status for compliance
with tax obligations and contribution to the nation’s finance. At this year’s
ceremony, Samsung Electronics and POSCO were awarded with the High-Amount
Tax Tower, and celebrities Song, Il-guk and Lee, Na-young were designated
as Model Taxpayers.
