A regular commissioner level meeting for Tax Administration
between Korea and Japan.
Son Yeong-lae, the commissioner of NTS who was visited by Ohara
sigaio, the Japanese commissioner of Tax Administration and his 6 staff members
on Monday 13 May, 2002, held the 12th regular meeting for Korea and Japan\'s Tax
Administration at conference room in NTS.
This regular meeting has been held in turn once every year in
order to seek ways to improve tax administration and promote the bilateral
cooperation by exchanging its opinion and experiences between two
countries.
Two main agendas for this meeting were discussed in a way to
exchange their opinions and experiences. One was about the operation process on
achievement evaluation for Japan which was proposed by Korea, the other one was
about the evaluation of reform measure done by Korean NTS which was proposed by
Japan.
