Another milestone has been set in the National Tax Service(NTS)’s path toward
globalized tax administration with NTS Commissioner Jeon,Goonpyo’s participation
in this year’s Leeds Castle Group meeting. The meeting, which was held in Victoria,
Canada, was the first of its kind since the ten-country group was formed at
Leeds Castle, England in January 2006.

Representatives from Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea,
the United Kingdom and the United States discussed strategies to combat aggressive
tax planning involving cross-border schemes, particularly where third parties
are involved.
