Opens Homepage of the OECD FTA Seoul Meeting
The National Tax
Service has launched the homepage of the 3rd Meeting of the OECD Forum on Tax
Administration.
The site can be
found at www.oecdftaseoul.org. The homepage
holds a wide array of information including the Conference Overview, the Schedule,
and also an introduction to the culture of Korea.
The Seoul meeting
is to be held between September 14 and 15, 2006, in Seoul, Korea. Heads of Tax
Administrations from 30 OECD member countries and 12 non-OECD member countries,
and senior officials from 8 international organizations are expected to participate
in the meeting. Organizational reforms and International enforcement issues
will be discussed in the meeting.
The OECD Forum on
Tax Administration is a Commissioner-level forum initiated in July 2002 by the
Committee on Fiscal Affairs. The first meeting convened in Seville, Spain, in
January of 2004, and the second conference was held in Dublin, Ireland in June,
2005.
